Today I did so-so on the diet and exercise...but my God I need to do something...

1 meal today
Cracker Barrel

House salad w/ honey mustard dressing
Chicken fried chicken with gravy & mashed potatoes
Hasbrown Casserole
Baked apples

a few cherry licorice straws (strands? what do you call them?)
3 Andes mints

Exercise:
200 calories on elliptical

Sigh...back to the grind...I hope...

Thursday Trials

Breakfast:
Balance Bar Gold Crunch - chocolate mint (210 calories)

Lunch:
Grilled chicken breast
1/2 stuffed baked potato (almost all of the top layer - with cheese, sour cream, chives)
1/4 spanakopita
(all from Giant's deli)
water

Dinner:
Marie Callender's Turkey Pot Pie (530 calories) - turkey, peas, carrots in sauce w/ crust...not good for you but goooood
lite cranberry juice

Estimated calories: 1,350
Calories burned: none (I was home baking and shouild have gone to the gym but chose not to...bad!)

Lesson: Not that bad of a day...must go to gym tomorrow though! Maybe over the weekend too...

I avoided going out to Ben & Jerry's after lunch - even if it was for sugar free ice cream! Probably a lot of fat anyway...

Smart ones rigatoni w/ chicken & broccoli (290 calories, 6 WW points)

Snack:
Cherry yogurt (100 calories)

Dinner:
Outback (leftover at my friend's house)
cheese fries w/ ranch (about 1/4 cup)
bloomin onion (about 10 pieces)
steak (smaller than my fist)
salad w/ blue cheese (about 1/2 the salad)
water

Estimated calories: 1,800
Calories burned: None (light walking, not much)

Lesson: Proud for not pigging out!

Two Times Tuesday

Breakfast:
Balance Bar caramel chocolate (100 calorie)

Lunch:
Wrapworks - Kenny's BBQ (I guess this is 700-800 calories, not sure...) - had steak, black beans, cilantro coleslaw, corn & pepper relish, BBQ sauce, and garlic mashed potatoes in a spinach wrap...I ate all but 1/4 of it...
Lemonade

Dinner:
Smart Ones Mac & Cheese (270 calories, 5 WW points)
1/2 Vitawater (50 calories per serving, 1.5 servings per bottle)

Estimated calories: 1,300 calories
Calories burned: 344
30 minutes on elliptical, 2.5 miles
I felt good about my workout today because for one, I did 1 mile in less than my usual 12 minute time, and two, I pushed myself at the end in the last 30 seconds to run the last 1/5th of a mile to hit 2.5 exactly. Go me!

Lesson: Hopefully this streak will keep...

Smart ones 4 cheese pizza (390 calories, 8 WW points)

4 bagel chips (130 calories for 7)
1/2 Vitawater

Dinner:
1 1/2 small chicken breasts - caribbean style seasoned
1/2 c. white rice with kidney beans
sugar free lemonade (10 calories)

Estimated calories: 1,200
Calories burned: 300
5 minute warm up on treadmill
25 minutes on elliptical - 2 miles
walk across parking lot to gym (instead of parking closer haha)

Lesson: YAY good day! May every day be like this...

Dannon lite yogurt (100 calories)
carrots and dip
colby cheese stick
handful of reduced fat ruffles
lemonade vitawater (50 calories per serving)

Dinner:
2 small chicken breasts - caribbean style seasoned
white rice
1 piece corn on the cob
lemonade vitawater (the rest of the bottle)

Estimated calories: 1,100
Calories burned: None, except a little housework (like vacuuming)

Lesson: Not a bad day for sitting home all day when I could have been snacking...
Back to the gym tomorrow I hope!
